The Fiddlers Canyon Elementary Community Council met on February 10, 2010.  Those in attendance were:  Dave Eberhard (chair), Howard Thorley (vice-chair), Ray Whittier, Tammy Hulet, Rochelle Blatter, Kathryn Spencer, Julie Gold.

The main topic of discussion was the Trustlands budget for 2010-2011.  The estimated amount of distribution is $21520.  There will also be a projected carryover of about $4000.  The council decided to appropriate $17000 for literacy and take-home library aides.  $8520 was designated to refill our math program. 

In addition, we talked about improving traffic flow in the south parking lots-especially the one to the east.  Arrows and signs will be placed there this summer. 

We also discussed the upcoming community council elections on May 24, 2010.  Dave Eberhard’s and Rochelle Blatter’s seats will be up for election.
